West County Preparedness Fair Set for September 24

What:

The West Contra Costa County Emergency Preparedness Fair will be held on Saturday, September 24 at the Del Norte BART Station in El Cerrito. As the nation marks the 10-year anniversary of the September 11 attacks, this free one-day event will help residents prepare for all natural and manmade disasters. More than 30 local businesses and agencies will provide demonstrations, presentations and offer the latest information about emergency preparedness. Highlights include free CPR training, fire and earthquake simulations, pet micro-chipping and more.

The event is free and open to the public.
