Contra Costa's Alcohol and Other Drugs and its Network Providers under the DMC-ODS adhere to all applicable requirements and procedures established by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 and all its modifications thereof, as well as by the 42 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR ) Part 2 which serves to protect patient records and confidentiality for the treatment of substance use disorder (SUD). 42 CFR Part 2 regulations apply to all federally funded programs which contract with AODS.

Has information on what benefits are covered, how to use services, your rights & responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.

To provide feedback about your experience at one of our Behavioral Health DMC-ODS Plan Network Providers, please call the Quality Improvement Line at 925-957-5131 or Email BHSQualityAssurance@cchealth.org.

To file a written complaint/grievance, please download the consumer grievance review request form below or you can obtain a form at any County location providing specialty behavior health services.
